Price/Shipping Change Effective 9/1/2022

Hello all!!

I know it's been a while since I have written a new post for you all, and I figured it was finally time.

We have some changes happening here at Kilted Suds, and I wanted to take a moment and make sure that you are all informed of what is going on. In light of recent changes to cost for ingredients, supplies, and shipping, we are overhauling all of our pricing and shipping practices. These changes will go into effect as of September 1, 2022.

Let's start with shipping! We are happy to announce that we will be reducing our free shipping threshold. Domestic Orders over $30 will now ship FREE! This will coincide with the removal of our "Free Local Pickup" option. As much as we want to offer you free local pickup, it seems to cause too much confusion on the website. Should you place an order that qualifies for free shipping, and prefer to pick the order up from us, please feel free to leave a note in your checkout, or send us an email. We would be happy to save the cost of shipping ourselves!

Next up, changes to our bar soap prices. As you know, we here at Kilted Suds pride ourselves in the ingredients used to make all of our products. Over the last couple of years, prices for our raw ingredients have gone through the roof. This left us with a few options:

• Keep prices the same, but reduce the size of our soaps. This is a typical practice for a lot of corporations, we feel it is trying to trick the customer.
• Change ingredients to less expensive options. This is not an option for us, as we do not want to reduce the quality of our product.
• Change our prices.

We have decided that the best option for all of you, and for Kilted Suds as a whole is to change our pricing structure. Beginning September 1st, bar soap prices will range from $10 to $12 per bar. We believe that with the addition of a lower free shipping threshold, our customers should not see that much of a change.
